Norske Talenter
''Norske Talenter'' (English: ''Norway’s Got Talent'', ''Norwegian Talents'') is a Norway, Norwegian talent show with a similar format to ''Britain's Got Talent,'' making it one of the ''Got Talent'' franchise programmes. The 16-year-old singer Erlend Bratland won the first series and Quick Style, a hip hop dance group, won the second series. The judges were music producer Jan Fredrik Karlsen, singer and actress Mia Gundersen and comedian/actor Thomas Giertsen. Bjarte Hjelmeland (born 24 February 1970) is a Norwegian actor and theatre director. He was born in Bergen. He made his stage debut in 1991 at Oslo Nye Teater, and also had notable roles at the National Theatre, Rogaland Teater, Torshovteatret, Den Nationale Scene and Chateau Neuf. Quick Style or The Quick Style and also known as the Quick Crew, is a Norwegian hip-hop/urban dance group founded by two Norwegian-Pakistani brothers. The group is notable for having won Norske Talenter, a Norwegian version of ''America's Got Talent'' in 2009. They have also participated in NBC's ''World of Dance'' and other dance competitions. Erlend Bratland (born 27 October 1991 in Husnes, Kvinnherad, Norway) is a Norwegian singer. Best known for winning Norske Talenter 2008, a Norwegian television talent series. Biography Early life Bratland was born to Kjersti Bratland, a native of Husnes, in 1991. Aged 13, he played the lead role in the musical '' Oliver'' together with the local "Blandakor" in Husnes. After this he performed in the musical ''Chess'' in neighbouring Bømlo. He also participated in Ungdommens Kulturmønstring (UKM) and made it to the semi-finals. He moved to Haugesund in his teens to study food and restaurant management, but dropped out during his first year to continue his music career.
