Netmarble Corp. (Hangul, Korean: 넷마블 주식회사) is a South Korean game developer and publisher, which was founded in 2000 by Bang Jun-hyuk. History Netmarble has its origins in the video game developer Ipopsoft (). Around the late 1990s, that company was in crisis. As an outsider, Bang Jun-hyuk helped locate investors to support the company. After the company again went into crisis, Bang took over the company as CEO and reorganized it into Netmarble. The company saw initial early successes. These caught the attention of CJ Group, which agreed to acquire it in 2004. Bang stepped down for health concerns in 2006, but rejoined the company after five years after it went into crisis. He then focused the company on the mobile gaming market. Netmarble developed ''Lineage 2: Revolution'' in 2015 and released to the public that same year. The first game was released for Android and iOS devices in March 2014 in South Korea and in February 2016 worldwide. (; stylized as Hybe Corporation; commonly known as simply Hybe) is a South Korean multinational entertainment company established in 2005 by Bang Si-hyuk as Big Hit Entertainment Co., Ltd. BTS (), also known as the Bangtan Boys, is a South Korean boy band formed in 2010. The band consists of Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook, who co-write or co-produce much of their material.
