Mohyliv-Podilskyi Raion ( uk, Могилів-Подільський район) is one of the six regions of Vinnytsia Oblast, located in southwestern Ukraine. The administrative center of the raion is the city of Mohyliv-Podilskyi. Population: On 18 July 2020, as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, the number of raions of Vinnytsia Oblast was reduced to six, and the area of Mohyliv-Podilskyi Raion was significantly expanded. Raions of Ukraine (often translated as "districts"; Ukrainian: ра́йон, tr. ''raion''; plural: райо́ни, tr. ''raiony'') are the second level of administrative division in Ukraine, below the oblast. Raions were created in a 1922 administrative reform of the Soviet Union, to which Ukraine, as the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, belonged. On 17 July 2020, the Verkhovna Rada (Ukraine's parliament) approved an administrative reform to merge most of the 490 raions, along with the "cities of regional significance", which were previously outside the raions, into just 136 reformed raions. Oleksander Lototsky ( uk, Олекса́ндр Ігна́тович Лото́цький; russian: Алекса́ндр Игна́тьевич Лото́цкий) was a Ukrainian statesman, diplomat, writer, and scientist. He was a member of the Association of the Ukrainian Progressionists (TUP). Lototsky graduated from the Kiev Theological Academy in 1896. In 1900-17 he worked in the office of state controller in Kiev and Saint Petersburg. During World War I Lototsky served as a gubernatorial commissar of Bukovina and Pokuttia. Raya Dunayevskaya (born Raya Shpigel, ; May 1, 1910 - June 9, 1987), later Rae Spiegel, also known by the pseudonym Freddie Forest, was the American founder of the philosophy of Marxist humanism in the United States. Count Włodzimierz Ksawery Tadeusz Dzieduszycki (; 22 June 1825 – 18 September 1899) was a Polish noble, landowner, naturalist, political activist, collector and patron of arts of Ruthenian heritage.
