Mediaskare Records is an American independent record label specializing in heavy metal music. The label was founded by Baron Bodnar, with its offices located in Los Angeles, California. The label's prominent artists include Volumes (band), Volumes, Bury Your Dead, and Silent Civilian. In February 2008, it was announced that Mediaskare entered a partnership with Century Media Records. The deal centered on new marketing and distribution for Mediaskare artists. In late 2010, the label broke apart from Century Media for distribution and joined Suburban Noize/RED. In 2014, the label faced media scrutiny for label artist Reformers (band), Reformers' lyrics relating to homosexuality, and released a statement defending freedom of artistic expression in response. RED Distribution
RED Music, stylized RED MUSIC, formerly RED Distribution, LLC (Relativity Entertainment Distribution) was a Sony-owned sales and marketing division that merged under The Orchard in 2017. RED previously handled releases for more than sixty independent record labels. History Founded in 1979 as mainly a hard rock music distributor called Important Record Distributors, which originally distributed Metallica's first two LPs in the US, it became RED Distribution in the 1990s. In October 1999, Sony Music Entertainment sold 80% of RED Distribution to Edel SE & Co. KGaA. In March 2016, Sony announced the acquisition of Essential Music and Marketing. Hero In Error
A hero (feminine: heroine) is a real person or a main fictional character who, in the face of danger, combats adversity through feats of ingenuity, courage, or strength. Like other formerly gender-specific terms (like ''actor''), ''hero'' is often used to refer to any gender, though ''heroine'' only refers to women. The original hero type of classical epics did such things for the sake of glory and honor. ''Ambush!'' is a man-to-man wargame developed by Avalon Hill. It was released under Avalon's Victory Games label and was developed by Eric Lee Smith and John Butterfield. It has been out of print since Avalon Hill was disbanded in 1998. ''Ambush!'' was innovative when it was released in 1983 since it was exclusively designed for single player play. Up to that point, wargames generally required at least two players. This was necessary since a player always had to play and control the opponent. ''Ambush!'' solved this problem by having the game scenario itself control the opponent. It accomplished this via tables, charts and a "paragraph book" which the player referred to see how the opponent was reacting. An aristeia or aristia (; grc, ἀριστεία , ''"excellence"'') is a scene in the dramatic conventions of epic poetry as in the ''Iliad'', where a hero in battle has his finest moments (''aristos'' = "best"). ''Aristeia'' may result in the death of the hero, and therefore suggests a "battle in which he reaches his peak as a fighter and hero". Historical background In the pre- hoplite phase of Greek military evolution, the well-armed aristocrat was the major focus of military action, placed at the apex of his less well-armed dependants. This was reflected in the Homeric division between nobility and commoners, and in the regular epic struggles over the armour of the former, once fallen in their aristeia. Red Enemy
Red is the color at the long wavelength end of the visible spectrum of light, next to orange and opposite violet. It has a dominant wavelength of approximately 625–740 nanometres. Its structure is that of a collection of diaries that were kept by the protagonists and later collated.
