Mark MacTaggart-Stewart
Sir Mark John MacTaggart-Stewart, 1st Baronet (12 October 1834 – 26 September 1923), known as Mark John Stewart until 1880, was a Scottish Conservative Member of Parliament in the House of Commons of the United Kingdom. He represented Wigtown Burghs from 1874 to 1880 and again for a few months later in 1880 and also sat for Kirkcudbrightshire between 1885 and 1906 and briefly in 1910. He married in 1866 Marianne Susanna Ommanney, daughter and heiress of John Orde Ommanney (d.1846), who was a son of Sir Francis Molyneux Ommanney. Her mother Susanna MacTaggart was a daughter of Sir John McTaggart, 1st Baronet, and through her they inherited an estate at Ardwell. In 1905 he assumed the additional surname of MacTaggart as he and his wife took possession of the Ardwell estate of her grandfather.Anon. Mark Anthony Stewart. (born October 13, 1959) is an American football coach and former linebacker. He played college football at Washington from 1979 to 1982. He then played in the National Football League (NFL) for 2 seasons from 1983 to 1984 for the Minnesota Vikings. Playing career A native of San Jose, California, Camden High School, sprinter 9.6 (100yd), 1977 Central Coast Section 220yd champion (21.6). A first-team All-American at outside linebacker, Stewart was one of the top defensive players to step on the gridiron at the University of Washington. In 1982, he set school records for quarterback sacks in a game with five against UCLA and fumbles caused in a season with five. Mark Stewart (born 1951 in Dallas, Texas) an American realist artist who paints primarily in watercolor. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Environmental Design and master's degree in Architecture. Upon completion of graduate school he received the American Institute of Architects Medal and Certificate for the Outstanding Graduate for the 1975-76 school year. He is a registered architect in the state of Texas. Since 1975 Mark has pursued dual careers, one in art and the other in architecture. Mark and his family currently reside in Houston, Texas. Mark began drawing as a means of expression and exploration as a small child, but did not begin painting until after graduation from college. Representing Great Britain and Scotland at international competitions, Stewart won the bronze medal at the 2016 UEC European Track Championships in the team pursuit.
