Macedonian Second Football League
The Macedonian Second Football League ( mk, Втора македонска Фудбалска Лига, ''Vtora Makedonska Fudbalska Liga''; also called Macedonian Second League, 2. MFL and Vtora Liga) is the second-highest professional football competition in North Macedonia. The competition is contested by 16 clubs, playing each other 2 times over 30 rounds. FK Karaorman
FK Karaorman ( mk, ФК Караорман) is a football club from Struga, North Macedonia. They are currently competing in the Macedonian Second League. History The club was founded in 1923 under the name ''Crn Drin'', by the advanced Struga youth. Among its creators was famous Macedonian painter, Vangel Kodžoman. After World War II, the club got its current name Karaorman. In their history they have played one season in the Macedonian First League back in 1993–94. Mostly they have competed in the Macedonian Second League, except for a short period when they were a member of the Macedonian Third League Southwest (Lake Region). FK Skopje
FK Skopje ( mk, ФК Скопје) is a football club from Skopje, the capital of the North Macedonia. They are currently competing in the Macedonian First League. History The club was created in 1960, by uniting ''FK Metalec'' and ''FK Industrijalec''. They were originally formed as ''FK MIK'' (Metalska Industrija Kale) and later changed their name to ''FK Skopje'' during the 1973–74 season. They won the Macedonian Republic League, regional Yugoslav 3rd tier, in 1970. As ''FK MIK'', the club competed for two seasons in the Yugoslav Second League East where they played with teams from federal Republics of Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia. FK Ljuboten
FK Ljuboten ( mk, ФК Љуботен) is a North Macedonian football club based in Tetovo. They are recently competing in the Macedonian Third League (West Division). History Founded in 1919, FK Ljuboten is the oldest club in North Macedonia. FK Ljuboten was based in northern Tetovo, built and supported by the locals. The name was derived from the mountain peak of the Šar Mountains, Ljuboten. Through most of the football period under both the Kingdom and Socialist Yugoslavia, the club relied on local talent and were funded by the locals and the city of Tetovo. For the 100th birthday of the club, they joined the Club of Pioneers. Rivalry FK Ljuboten's rival is FK Teteks. FK Vardar Skopje ( mk, ФК Вардар Скопје), or simply Vardar, is a football club based in the capital city of Skopje, North Macedonia, North Macedonia. FK Lokomotiva Skopje ( mk, ФК Локомотива Скопје) is a football club based in the Karpoš neighborhood of Skopje, North Macedonia. They are currently competing in the Macedonian Second League. History The club was founded in 1954, as the railway club, therefore it was sometimes called ŽFK Lokomotiva. In the past they played their matches on the home ground of FK Rabotnički, and so often youth players from Rabotnički came to the club for development. Many decades later it moved to the current stadium location in Skopje settlement Karpoš. FK Teteks
FK Teteks ( mk, ФК Тетекс) is a football club from the city of Tetovo in North Macedonia. They are currently competing in the Macedonian Second League. History In 1946, there was a club from Tetovo called Šar Tetovo, and it competed in the Macedonian Republic League and Macedonian Cup. It won the Macedonian Cup two times in 1948 and 1950, and was successful in the Macedonian League. However, it was dissolved after a few years, mostly because of financial difficulties. Not much long after this, a new club was founded on the base of FK Šar, named Tekstilec. The club was founded in 1953, under the name FK Tekstilec. The founder of FK Teteks is the textile combine Teteks and because of this they are known as "Štofari" (Tailors). They were in the shadow of the older club FK Ljuboten (formed in 1919). FK Sloga 1934 Vinica
FK Sloga 1934 ( mk, ФК Слога 1934) is a football club based in Vinica, North Macedonia. They are currently competing in the Macedonian Second League. History The club was founded in 1934 as "FK Makedonija Vinica". In 1939, the name was changed to "FK Pakos Vinica" and in 1941 to "FK Plačkovica Vinica". From 1950 the club was named "FK Sloga Vinica" until its collapse in 2009. In 2012 the club was refounded under the current name, "FK Sloga 1934 Vinica" from Zoran Vasevski, Angelcho Goshev, Kiro Kurchiski, Blagoj Dimitrov and Petar Arsov. FK Pelister
FK Pelister ( mk, ФК Пелистер) is a Macedonian football club based in the city of Bitola, North Macedonia. They are currently competing in the Macedonian Second League. History FK Pelister, was formed in 1945. In 1946 they won the Bitola regional title and that same year they merged with Rabotnik. They won the Bitola title in 1950 and 1951 again. During that time the most influential players were: Georgievski, Dimitrovski, Petrovski, Naumovski, Lazarevski, Sekerdžievski, Avramovski, Nestorov and Eftimovski. The team played primarily in the lower divisions of the former SFR Yugoslavia and were champions of the Macedonian Republic League four times, along with winning the Macedonian Republic Cup four times in 1959, 1962, 1985 and 1991.
