Middle Park, Victoria
Middle Park is an inner suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 5 km south of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Port Phillip local government area. Middle Park recorded a population of 4,000 at the 2021 census. It is located between Port Phillip and Albert Park Lake, which is about halfway across the western side of the Albert Park Reserve (a state park), hence the name "Middle" Park. It is bordered by Canterbury Road to the east, Mills Street to the north, Fraser Street to the south and Beaconsfield Parade to the west. Middle Park, along with neighbouring Albert Park, contains some of the best preserved terrace house and Victorian architecture in Melbourne and is part of a strict heritage-conservation area. Yarra Plenty Regional Library
Yarra Plenty Regional Library (YPRL) provides a public library service to the local government municipalities of the City of Banyule, Shire of Nillumbik and City of Whittlesea in the northeast of Melbourne Australia and located on the lands of the Woiworung. It is an independent legal entity with an executive management team which is responsible for day-to-day operations of the organisation. It is managed by the Yarra Plenty Regional Library Board made of two representatives (councillors) of the three municipalities that constitute the service. Its role is to set the policy and direction for the regional library service. The library service covers an area of 988.4 km² including metropolitan, urban fringe and rural populations. Rosanna is a leafy suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 12 km north-east from Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Banyule local government area. Ivanhoe, Victoria
Ivanhoe is a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, north-east of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Banyule local government area. Ivanhoe recorded a population of 13,374 at the 2021 census. History Greenway's Ivanhoe Hotel was opened near current day Upper Heidelberg Road in 1854. The homestead "Chelsworth" was built in 1860 and was an early farming property. The origins of the property are traced to 1846 when Patrick Stevenson operated a local dairy farm. City Of Banyule
The City of Banyule is a local government area in Victoria, Australia in the north-eastern suburbs of Melbourne. It was created under the Local Government Act 1989 and established in 1994 as an amalgamation of former councils. It has an area of and lies between 7 and 21 km from central Melbourne. In 1994 it had a population of 116,000. In June 2018 Banyule had a population of 130,237. The Yarra River runs along the City's southern border while its western border is defined by Darebin Creek. The City moved their main offices from Ivanhoe to Greensborough in 2017. A brand-new civic centre was constructed, including three-level offices to accommodate 320 council staff, community and function rooms.
