Lakeland Senior High School (Florida)
Lakeland Senior High School, opened in 1902, is the oldest public high school in Lakeland, Florida, United States. The school was originally located on North Florida Avenue and was destroyed by fire in 1927. It is part of Polk County Public Schools. Lakeland Senior High School was the original high school in the city. It also shares its campus with Lois Cowles Harrison Center for the Visual and Performing Arts. Harrison students attend academic classes at Lakeland Senior High School. Athletics The school's athletic teams are known as the Lakeland Dreadnaughts. Lakeland High School (Idaho)
Lakeland High School is a four-year public secondary school in Rathdrum, Idaho, one of two traditional high schools in the Lakeland Joint School District #272 of northern Kootenai County. The current campus opened in 1979 as a senior high school(grades 10–12); The two high schools of Rathdrum and Spirit Lake camp together to form Lakeland High School in the fall of 1961. The campus located at the now Lakeland Middle School was built in 1962 and was moved into as soon as it was completed. In 1979, that building became the junior high school. The school colors are green and gold and the mascot is a hawk. Even though Rathdrum is a small city, many people attend Lakeland High School. Lakeland Junior/Senior High School (Formerly Lakeland High School) is a public high school located in Lagrange, Indiana. Lakeland Jr/Sr High School (LHS) is the only high school part of Lakeland School Corporation. LHS students are given the opportunity to complete a variety of dual credit and Advanced Placement classes in a variety of subjects in addition to completing their regular requirements for a high school diploma. Along with its sister school, Walter Panas High School of Cortlandt Manor, LHS attracts a culturally diverse (70% whit) and talented student body from over in northern Westchester County, New York, Westchester County. Lakeland High School is a public secondary school in Suffolk, Virginia, United States. It opened in September 1990 and originally consisted of students from the four former high schools of John F. Kennedy High School, Forest Glen High School, John Yeates High School, and Suffolk High School. Lakeland opened its doors to approximately 1800 students. The student population swelled to nearly 2600 students in 2003, and in 2004 a new high school, King's Fork, opened.
