The Komala Party of Iranian Kurdistan ( ku, , Komełey Şorrişgêrrî Zehmetkêşanî Kurdistanî Êran, lit=Society of Revolutionary Toilers of Iranian Kurdistan), commonly shortened to Komalah ( ku, Komełe; fa, کومله), is a social-democratic ethnic party of Kurds in Iran. Formerly with Marxist-Leninist and communist ties, the Komalah is a well established party with a history of more than five decades. The Komala party's headquarters are presently in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. They have an armed wing that has a history of leading the Kurdish resistance. The Komalah advocates for anti-imperialism and Kurdish self-determination. The group is classified as a terrorist organization by Iran and Japan. Komalapuram
Komalapuram is a village in Alappuzha district in the Indian state of Kerala. It is part of Aryad panchayat. It is said that the name Komalapuram is a word combined of two words 'Komalam' and 'Puram'. Komalam is named after Mr. Komalam Shetty, a money lender who lived in the area, and 'Puram' means an area of land. Another theory is that the name is derived from the Malayalam word 'komalam', the beauty of kids and women and that the meaning of Komalapuram came from the ' Land of Beautiful Kids and Ladies'. Demographics At the time of the 2001 India census, Komalapuram had a population of 43,281. Men constituted 49% of the population and Women 51%. Princess Komala Saovabha or ''Phra Chao Boromwongse Ther Phra Ong Chao Komala Saovamala'' ( RTGS: ''Komon Saowaman''; th, พระเจ้าบรมวงศ์เธอ พระองค์เจ้าโกมลเสาวมาล) (19 September 1887 – 19 April 1890), was the Princess of Siam (later Thailand). Komala Varadan is an Indian classical dancer of Bharatnatyam, writer and the founder of ''Kalaikoodam'', a Delhi-based institute for promoting arts, literature and culture. She is known to be proficient in various art forms such as choreography, photography and painting. Career Ms Varadan learnt classical dance from one of the leading dance maestros of India, Vazhuvoor Ramiah Pillai. She has performed on many stages in India and abroad.
