''The King Family Show'' is an American Variety show, musical variety series that featured The King Sisters and their extended musical family. The series first aired on American Broadcasting Company, ABC from January 1965 to January 1966. The series was revived in 1969, airing from March to September of that year. Background and premise After an appearance on ''The Hollywood Palace'' in May 1964 drew a reported 53,000 letters, ABC decided to give the Kings their own hour-long special. ''The Family is King'' aired on August 29, 1964 to great ratings. More letters poured into ABC and the King Family was given their own hour-long weekly musical variety series (replacing ''The Outer Limits (1963 TV series), The Outer Limits''), debuting on Saturday, January 23, 1965 (the King Family made a third ''Hollywood Palace'' appearance a week before the debut of their own series in order to promote it). King Family (band)
King (stylised KING) are an English pop/ hip hop quartet, started in 1997. The band consisted originally of five siblings, Trillion, Queenie, Jazzy, Ruby and Lucius. In November 2013 Jazzy and Ruby left the quintet to form their own band Blonde Electra and their younger sister Jemima joined the group. History The three eldest siblings were born in India and the two younger ones in Ukraine. All were home-schooled by their father, Michael Jaffray King (British) and mother, Irmgard King (German). They were raised in over 30 countries throughout the world. Due to being born in different countries and having parents from two countries, all siblings have dual citizenship. They are fluent in four languages. They have two younger sisters, Jemima and Michelle King, who currently reside in Cologne, Germany with their parents.
