Max Van Den Berg
Margrietus Johannes "Max" van den Berg (;Every word in isolation: born 22 March 1946) is a Dutch politician and member of the Dutch Labour Party. From 1979 to 1986 he was the chairman of that party and from 1999 to 2007 he was a Member of the European Parliament. From 2007 to 2016, he was the King's Commissioner in Groningen, until 2013 as Queen's Commissioner. Hans Alders
Johannes Gerardus Maria "Hans" Alders (born 17 December 1952) is a retired Dutch politician Labour Party (PvdA) and businessman. He is the Chairman of the Supervisory board of rail transport company ProRail since 27 June 2014. He is also chairman of the Alders tables for the airports Schiphol, Eindhoven and Lelystad. Alders was previously Minister of Housing, Spatial Planning and the Environment (1989—1994) and Queen's Commissioner (1996—2007) in the province of Groningen. Hendrik "Henk" Johan Lubert Vonhoff (22 June 1931 – 25 July 2010) was a Dutch politician of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD) and teacher. Edzo Toxopeus
Edzo Hendrik Toxopeus (19 February 1918 – 23 August 2009) was a Dutch politician and diplomat of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD) and jurist. Toxopeus studied Law at the Utrecht University obtaining a Master of Laws degree. Toxopeus worked as a paralegal in Breda from July 1942 until October 1944 and worked as a military lawyer in the Royal Netherlands Army from November 1944 until August 1945. Toxopeus worked as a criminal defense lawyer in Breda from August 1945 until May 1959. Edward Walter Olczyk Jr. (; born August 16, 1966) is a former center in the National Hockey League for 16 seasons with the Chicago Blackhawks, Toronto Maple Leafs, Winnipeg Jets, New York Rangers, Los Angeles Kings, and Pittsburgh Penguins. Hans Linthorst Homan
Johannes (Hans) Linthorst Homan (17 February 1903 – 6 November 1986) was a Dutch politician and diplomat. He was born in Assen to the patrician Linthorst Homan family, the son of Jan Tijmens Linthorst Homan. He studied law in Leiden, and started practising in Assen in 1926. He joined the Liberal Freedom League and in 1937 was a candidate for parliament. He became the Queen's Commissioner for Groningen. During the German occupation, he sought to resign his position in September 1940, but had to remain in post until August 1941. He had been a co-founder of the Dutch Union in 1940, before it was closed in favour of the Nationaal-Socialistische Beweging in 1941. Later in the war he was arrested and then released. Following the war, he was prevented from continuing in his previous post, but took up other public positions including being chairman of the Dutch Olympic Committee. Alidius Warmoldus Lambertus Tjarda van Starkenborgh Stachouwer (7 March 1888 – 16 August 1978) was a Dutch nobleman and statesman, primarily noted for being the last colonial Governor-General of the Dutch East Indies, now Indonesia. He was taken captive after accepting Japan's demands for an unconditional surrender of the islands on 9 March 1942. Early life In November 1915 he married Christine Marburg, the daughter of the American Ambassador to Belgium, Theodore Marburg. He joined the Dutch diplomatic service in 1915.
