Kabaddi Competitions In Thailand
Kabaddi is a contact sport, contact team sport. Played between two teams of seven players, the objective of the game is for a single player on offence, referred to as a "raider", to run into the opposing team's half of the court, touch out as many of their players and return to their own half of the court, all without being tackled by the defenders in 30 seconds. Points are scored for each player tagged by the raider, while the opposing team earns a point for stopping the raider. Players are taken out of the game if they are touched or tackled, but are brought back in for each point scored by their team from a tag or a tackle. It is popular in the Indian subcontinent and other surrounding Asian countries. Although accounts of kabaddi appear in the Traditional games of India, histories of History of India, ancient India, the game was popularised as a Competition, competitive sport in the 20th century. The 2018 Asian Games ( id, Pesta Olahraga Asia 2018 or ''Asian Games 2018''), officially known as the 18th Asian Games and also known as Jakarta-Palembang 2018 or Indonesia 2018, was a Asia, continental multi-sport event that was held from 18 August to 2 September 2018 in Jakarta and Palembang. For the first time, the Summer Asian Games were co-hosted by two regions; the Indonesian capital of Jakarta (which was hosting the Games for the first time since 1962 Asian Games, 1962), and Palembang, the capital of South Sumatra province. Events were held in and around the two cities, including venues in Bandung Regency, Bandung and the provinces of West Java and Banten. The 2018 Asian Games opening ceremony, opening and 2018 Asian Games closing ceremony, closing ceremonies of the Games were held at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta.
