KK Proleter Zrenjanin
Košarkaški klub Proleter ( sr-cyr, Кошаркашки клуб Пролетер), commonly referred to as KK Proleter Zrenjanin, is a men's professional basketball Sports club, club based in Zrenjanin, Serbia. They currently participates in the Second Basketball League of Serbia. The club is also known as Proleter Naftagas due to sponsorship reasons. They are the List of basketball clubs in Serbia by major honours won, only club in Serbia outside Belgrade which won a national title. History Formed in 1947, they immediately became one of the leading clubs in the SFR Yugoslavia, Yugoslavia. The club was named after Proletariat. In the 1948 Yugoslav First Basketball League, 1948 season, just one year after its establishment, the club won second place in the Yugoslav Basketball League, national championship. Second Men's League of Serbia ( sr-cyr, Друга мушка лига Србије, Druga muška liga Srbije), previously Basketball League of Serbia B, is the second-tier level men's professional basketball league in Serbia. Founded in 2006, it is run by the Basketball Federation of Serbia (KSS). Rules Competition format The league, operated by the Basketball Federation of Serbia, has 14 teams. From the 2012–13 season, the top two teams in Second League goes to First League of Serbia. The teams positioned 11th, 12th, 13th and 14th in Second will be relegated to the 3td tier – First Men's Regional League. Dušan Radojčić (basketball)
Dušan Radojčić ( sr-cyr, Душан Радојчић; 1931 – 5 May 1999), was a Serbian basketball player and coach. He represented the Yugoslavia national basketball team internationally. Playing career Radojčić spent most of his playing career with Proleter Zrenjanin of the Yugoslav Basketball League. He played the 1952 season for a Belgrade-based team Partizan. During his second stint with Proleter he won the National Championships in the 1956 season. Radojčić was a part of the group of players known as the Proleter's Five, which included himself, Milutin Minja, Ljubomir Katić, Lajos Engler, and Vilmos Lóczi. National team career Radojčić was a member of the Yugoslavia national team that participated at the 1950 FIBA World Championship in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Zoran Todorović ( sr-cyr, Зоран Тодоровић; born July 9, 1967) is a Serbian basketball coach and former player. Playing career Todorović played for Smederevo 1953, Goša from Smederevska Palanka, and Radnički Kovin. He also played in the 1995–96 season for the Apollon Limassol of the Cyprus Division A. Coaching career Todorović started his coaching career in 1999 with Smederevo 1953. In 2001, he had moved to Swisslion Vršac where he stayed until 2003. In 2003, once again he signed with Smederevo. Dragan "Gagi" Nikolić ( sr-cyr, Драган "Гаги" Николић; born February 20, 1972) is a Serbian professional basketball coach. Uroš Mirković ( sr-cyr, Урош Мирковић; born 11 January 1982) is a Serbian professional basketball player for Proleter Naftagas of the Basketball League of Serbia.
