Jolin Chien
Jolin Chien (; born April 4, 1986) is a Taiwanese singer, actor and model. Formerly went by Samuel Chien, He was discovered while competing in a singing competition. He is a former member of the boy duo band StyLe and current co-leader of boy band . He and his group members were signed under Avex for music management and currently under Y.H Ent for acting and commercial management. Biography Chien was born on April 4, 1986 in Taoyuan, Taiwan. He is the youngest of a two-child family with a brother older than him by two years. Not much is mentioned about his father, all is known is that he grew up in a single parent household mainly raised by his mother. Chien said during his teenage years he was very rebellious and radical. Dominique Jolin, born October 24, 1964 in Quebec, is a writer, illustrator, scriptwriter and content producer. She is the creator of the characters Toopy and Binoo. Biography After university studies in youth literature, creative writing and scriptwriting, she published her first children's album in 1992, ''It's Not Fair!'' which earned her the Mr. Christie's Book Award. Since then, she has written and/or illustrated a hundred children's albums published in French, English, Spanish, Catalan and Korean, many of which have won her awards and distinctions. Einar Jolin (7 August 189029 August 1976) was a Swedish Painting, painter best known for his decorative and slightly naïve art, naïve Expressionism, Expressionist style. After studying at Konstfack, Stockholm in 1906 and at the ''Konstnärsförbundets skola, Konstnärsförbundets målarskola'' (the Artists Association Art School), Jolin and his friends Isaac Grünewald and Einar Nerman went to Paris for further studies at Henri Matisse's academy from 1908 to 1914. He painted portraits, still lifes and cityscapes, always accentuating what he called "the beautiful" in his motifs. He mainly worked in Oil paint, oils and Watercolor painting, watercolors, using delicate brush strokes and light colors. (Maria Helena) Ellen Jolin (16 June 1854 – 25 May 1939) was a Swedish writer, painter and graphic artist. Biography Jolin was born in Stockholm, Sweden. She attended the Royal Swedish Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm and the Académie Julian in Paris. Her instructors included Fredrik Wilhelm Scholander, Kerstin Cardon, Carl Hansen, and Jules Joseph Lefebvre. Jolin exhibited her paintings in Paris, Vienna, and Berlin. Simon Jolin-Barrette is a Canadian lawyer and politician in Quebec, Jolin-Barrette (born 1987) was elected to the National Assembly of Quebec in the 2014 Quebec election. He represents the riding of Borduas as a member of the Coalition Avenir Québec (CAQ). Political career Jolin-Barrette was part of a group of 40 young entrepreneurs who joined the CAQ at the time of the party's founding in 2011.
