Jamia Qasim Ul Uloom Multan ( ur, , Jamiyah Qasim Uloom) is an Deobandi religious educational centre in Multan, Pakistan. The seminary was established in 1946 by Mufti Mahmood. In October 1946, Hussain Ahmad Madani visited Multan for formal inauguration and special prayer. Asad Mehmood is the current chancellor of Jamia. Deobandi Islamic Universities And Colleges
Deobandi is a revivalist movement within Sunni Islam, adhering to the Hanafi school of law, formed in the late 19th century around the Darul Uloom Madrassa in Deoband, India, from which the name derives, by Muhammad Qasim Nanautavi, Rashid Ahmad Gangohi, and several others, after the Indian Rebellion of 1857–58. Noor Muhammad
Maulana Noor Muhammad (1936 – 23 August 2010) ( Urdu: ) was a Pakistani Islamic scholar, writer and politician, who served as a member of the 11th National Assembly of Pakistan from 1997 to 1999. Early life and education Noor Muhammad was born in 1936 in Bizenkhel, Bannu District, to Maulvi Nazar Muhammad Ibn Maulvi Ahmad Noor in a well-known intellectual and spiritual family. He belongs to the Ahmadzai tribe of Wazir. He received his early education from his late father at home and in 1951 he entered Jamia Qasim Ul Uloom, Multan. Muhammad Abdullah Ghazi
Mawlānā Muhammad Abdullah Ghazi ( ur, – 17 October 1998) was a Pakistani Islamic scholar who served as Chairman of Ruet-e-Hilal Committee and as the first Imam of Lal Masjid, and founded Faridia University and Jamia Hafsa. He Graduated from Jamia Uloom-ul-Islamia and served as the first Imam and Khatib of Lal Masjid, the first mosque to be established in the new capital.
