Ijebu Ode
Ijebu-Ode is a town in Ogun State, South Western geopolitical zone in Nigeria, close to the A121 highway. The city is located 110 km by road north-east of Lagos; it is within of the Atlantic Ocean in the eastern part of Ogun State and possesses a warm tropical climate. According to the '' Britannica'', by the 16th century it was established as the chief town, and since pre-colonial times it has been the capital of the Ijebu kingdom. It has an estimated population of 222,653 (2006 census). It is home to Sungbo's Eredo one of the largest ramparts in West Africa. Ijebu Kingdom
Ijebu (also known as Jebu or Geebu) is a Yoruba people, Yoruba kingdom in Nigeria. It was formed around the fifteenth century. According to legend, its ruling dynasty was founded by Obanta whose personal name was Ogborogan of Ile-Ife. Epe is a town and Local Government Areas of Nigeria, Local Government Area (LGA) in Lagos State, Nigeria located on the north side of the Lekki Lagoon and about 90 km from Ibadan. Isonyin
Isonyin is a small town in Ogun State, Nigeria located about 10 kilometers from Ijebu Ode. Administratively, it is part of the Ijebu North-East Local Government Area. Arapawa Goat
One of the rarest goat breeds in the world, the New Zealand Arapawa goat is, according to the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy, critically close to extinction. A small, dual-purpose animal that was found isolated on the island of Arapaoa Island, Arapawa in the Marlborough Sounds of New Zealand, there is evidence to support the belief that the Arapawa goats are direct descendants of the now extinct "Olde English" breed. Ijebu Igbo (Yoruba: Ìjẹ̀bú-Igbó) is a town in Ogun State, Nigeria. It is approximately a 15-minute drive north of Ijebu Ode. Ago-Iwoye is a city in Ogun, Nigeria and formerly of the now-defunct Ijebu Kingdom.
