Dean Warren Couzins (born 9 June 1981 in Christchurch) is a field hockey player from New Zealand, who earned his first cap for the national team, nicknamed ''The Black Sticks'', in 2001 against Malaysia. Darren Smith (field Hockey)
Darren Campbell Smith (born 14 November 1973) is a former New Zealand field hockey player, who earned his first cap for the national team, nicknamed ''The Black Sticks'', in 1995 against Spain. He represented New Zealand at the 2004 Summer Olympics. Smith is currently the Head Coach of the Black Sticks a role he has had since 2017. During his time in charge of the side they have earned a silver medal at the Commonwealth Games in the Gold Coast in 2018. Blair Robert Hopping (born 12 August 1980 in Pukekohe) is a field hockey player from New Zealand, who earned his first cap for the national team, nicknamed ''The Black Sticks'', in 2000 against Pakistan. He competed for New Zealand at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing and the 2012 Summer Olympics in London and at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester and the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne. Troy Elder OAM (born 15 October 1977 in Bunbury, Western Australia) is a field hockey striker and midfielder from Australia, who was a member of the Men's National Team that won the golden medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens.
