The club was founded on December 22, 1946. It plays its home games at Stade Adrar. History Early years (1946–1963) Hassania Union Sport d'Agadir was founded on 22 December 1946 by a group of patriots against French colonialism, and more particularly by Ahmed Kabbage, Abbas Kabbage, Hassan Oulhaj Akhannouch and Lahoucine Bijaouane, who are considered the founding fathers of the team. Stade Adrar
Adrar Stadium (Adrar for "''mountain''" in Berber) ( Berber: ⴰⴱⴰⵔⴰⵣ ⵏ ⴰⴷⵔⴰⵔ, Arabic: ملعب أدرار) is a multi-use stadium in Agadir, Morocco, that was inaugurated in 2013. It is used mostly for football matches. The stadium has a capacity of 45,480 seat. It was supposed to hold 2010 FIFA World Cup games if Morocco had been chosen to be the host country. The stadium is home to Association football club Hassania Agadir, replacing their old venue Stade Al Inbiaâte. It has hosted four matches of the 2013 FIFA Club World Cup in December 2013 and was one of the stadiums to be used for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations but did not host the cup because of Morocco's cancelled hosting due to fears of the Ebola outbreak. It was one of the 14 venues for Morocco's bid for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, it would have hosted a Quarters-Final if Morocco had have been awarded the World Cup. The CAF Confederation Cup, known as the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup for sponsorship purposes, is an annual association football club competition established in 2004 from a merger of the CAF Cup and the African Cup Winners' Cup and organized by CAF. Clubs qualify for the competition based on their performance in their national leagues and cup competitions. It is the second-tier competition of African club football, ranking below the CAF Champions League. Aurel Țicleanu
Aurel Țicleanu (born 20 January 1959) is a Romanian football manager and former player who played as a midfielder. Playing career Club career Țicleanu began his youth career with Metallurgistul Sadu in 1974. He was quickly spotted there by manager Constantin Oţet who brought him to Universitatea Craiova in 1976. He made his professional debut at age 17 with Craiova during the 1976–77 season. Țicleanu spent nine seasons at the club, and won the league title twice, in 1980 and 1981 also reaching the semi-finals of the UEFA Cup in 1983. In the 1985–86 season, he joined Sportul Studențesc of Bucharest, helping them to a second-place finish in the Divizia A the club's highest ranking ever. Ion Oblemenco (13 May 1945 – 1 September 1996) was a Romanian football striker who spent the majority of his career playing for Universitatea Craiova. He is the club's all-time top goalscorer with a total of 167 goals, and the club's stadium is named in his honour. Early years Oblemenco was born in Corabia, Olt County. He began his youth career in 1958 at the age of 13 at Progresul Corabia, where he played till 1960, and then moved to Electroputere Craiova for two years.
