BNR Class HSG
The Bengal Nagpur Railway class HSG was a class of two 2-8-0+0-8-2 Garratt locomotives. After NWR's GAS class, BNR conducted similar experiments for pulling heavier trains up the ghats with successful results. Its parts were similar to BESA heavy goods 2-8-0s. They worked on the Chakradharpur-Jharsuguda section coupled to each other. After electrification they became obsolete. In the end, they were stationed at Kharagpur workshops. They were the first successful class of Garratts. Haringey Solidarity Group or HSG is a collective of community activists based in the Borough of Haringey, London. Aims HSG is active in a wide range of campaigns and struggles for social justice, workers' control, public services, civil liberties and a sustainable environment. It also aims to help to build stronger local communities. Hathersage Railway Station
Hathersage railway station serves the village of Hathersage in the Derbyshire Peak District, in England. History The station was opened on 25 June 1894 when the Midland Railway opened the line between and (now the Hope Valley Line) for passengers, the line had opened for freight on 6 November 1893. The original buildings were of timber and have disappeared, with the platforms being rebuilt in masonry. The villagers' initial reaction to proposals to build the railway may have been unenthusiastic. They had already had an unfavourable experience of the 'iron horse' in the form of a traction engine in 1882, which, drawing two heavy carts, had made the roads almost impassable, killing a boy and overturning a mail cart. Hysterosalpingography (HSG), also known as uterosalpingography, is a radiologic procedure to investigate the shape of the uterine cavity and the shape and patency of the Fallopian tubes. It is a special x-ray using dye to look at the womb (uterus) and Fallopian tubes. It injects a radio-opaque material into the cervical canal, and usually fluoroscopy with image intensification. A normal result shows the filling of the uterine cavity and the bilateral filling of the Fallopian tube with the injection material. To demonstrate tubal rupture, spillage of the material into the peritoneal cavity needs to be observed.
