Guerrilla B.V. (trade name: Guerrilla Games) is a Dutch First-party developer, first-party video game developer based in Amsterdam and part of PlayStation Studios. The company was founded as Lost Boys Games in January 2000 through the merger of three smaller development studios as a subsidiary of multimedia Conglomerate (company), conglomerate company Lost Boys (company), Lost Boys. Lost Boys Games became independent the following year and was acquired by Media Republic in 2003, renaming the studio to Guerrilla Games before being purchased by Sony Interactive Entertainment in 2005. As of June 2021, the company employs 360 people under the leadership of joint studio heads Angie Smets, Jan-Bart van Beek, and Michiel van der Leeuw. ''Killzone'' is a first-person shooter, developed by Guerrilla Games and released on 2 November 2004 in North America and 26 November 2004 in Europe. The game was remastered in HD by Supermassive Games and re-released within the ''Killzone Trilogy'' for PlayStation 3 as well as a standalone PSN title in 2012. ''Killzone'' takes place in the middle of the 24th century and chronicles the war between two human factions; the Vektans, and the Helghast. The (GBA) is a 32-bit handheld game console developed, manufactured and marketed by Nintendo as the successor to the Game Boy Color. It was released in Japan on March 21, 2001, in North America on June 11, 2001, in the PAL region on June 22, 2001, and in mainland China as iQue Game Boy Advance on June 8, 2004. The GBA is part of the sixth generation of video game consoles. ''Rhino Rumble'' is a 2002 game for the Game Boy Color developed by Guerrilla Games, Lost Boys Games and published by Telegames. The game is a side-scrolling platform game, platformer set in the jungle. Gameplay ''Rhino Rumble'' is a platform game in which the player guides Rocky, a rhino who finds himself with a burning breath after eating a hot pepper, to find a magical waterfall that will return his breath to normal. The game features nineteen levels across seven worlds, spanning "forests, caves, scorching deserts and freezing snowfields". The player character defeats enemies by using his breath to shoot fireballs and "belly bouncing" on them. Defeating enemies awards the player with points to unlock bonus levels later in the game. The (commonly abbreviated as GBC) is a handheld game console, manufactured by Nintendo, which was released in Japan on October 21, 1998 and to international markets that November.
