Grand Canyon Antelopes Men's Soccer
The Grand Canyon Antelopes men's soccer program represents Grand Canyon University in all NCAA Division I men's college soccer competitions. Founded in 1985, the Antelopes have competed in the Western Athletic Conference since 2013. The Lopes are coached by Michael Kraus (soccer), Mike Kraus. GCU plays its home matches at GCU Stadium. NCAA Tournament history After transitioning from NCAA Division II to Division I, GCU was eligible for the Division I postseason for the first time in 2017. The Lopes qualified for the NCAA Tournament in just their second season of Division I eligibility, winning the Western Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Tournament in 2018 behind three consecutive 1–0 shutout victories. Grand Canyon qualified for the NCAA Tournament seven times at the Division II level, highlighted by a Division II National Championship in 1996. Michael Kraus (soccer)
Michael Kraus (born September 10, 1984 in Memphis, Tennessee) is an American soccer former player and coach. In 2022 Kraus was hired to be the head coach of Grand Canyon Antelopes men's soccer, Grand Canyon University. Career College and Amateur Kraus played college soccer at Creighton University, where he was named the Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year in 2006, the same year he served as Creighton's team captain. He was named First-Team All-MVC in 2006 and Second-Team All-MVC in 2005. He was named MVC Offensive Player of the Week four times in his collegiate career. Lynn Fighting Knights
The Lynn Fighting Knights are the athletic teams that represent Lynn University, located in Boca Raton, Florida, in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sports. The Fighting Knights compete as members of the Sunshine State Conference for all 14 varsity sports. Lynn has been a member of the SSC since 1997. Phoenix Rising Football Club is an American professional Association football, soccer team based in Phoenix, Arizona. Founded in 2014 as Arizona United Soccer Club, the team is a member of the USL Championship. Evan Waldrep (born May 8, 1997) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for Hume City FC in the NPL Victoria. Career College Waldrep played at Creighton University in his freshmen and sophomore years and then transferred to Grand Canyon University for the 2017 season. The MLS SuperDraft is an annual college draft for teams of Major League Soccer in the United States and Canada. It takes place in January and is used by teams to select players who have graduated from college or otherwise been signed by the league. Saeed Robinson (born 8 August 1990) is a Jamaican footballer who plays as a midfielder for Greek American AA in the Eastern Premier Soccer League. Niki Jackson (born August 25, 1995) is an American soccer player who plays as a forward for San Diego Loyal in the USL Championship.
