Ayubia National Park
Ayubia National Park ( ur, ), also known as Ayubia ( ur, ), is a protected area of located in Abbottabad District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan. It was declared a national park in 1984. Ayubia was named after Muhammad Ayub Khan (1958–1969), second President of Pakistan. The area supports temperate coniferous forest and temperate broadleaf and mixed forest ecoregion habitats, with an average elevation of above sea level. Ayubia National Park is surrounded by seven major villages and three small towns of Thandiani, Nathiagali and Khanspur. The park has been developed as a resort complex from a combination of four mini resorts of Khaira Gali, Changla Gali, Khanspur and Ghora Dhaka in Galyat. An askari (from Somali, Swahili and Arabic , , meaning "soldier" or "military", which also means "police" in the Somali language) was a local soldier serving in the armies of the European colonial powers in Africa, particularly in the African Great Lakes, Northeast Africa and Central Africa. The word is used in this sense in English, as well as in German, Italian, Urdu and Portuguese. In French, the word is used only in reference to native troops outside the French colonial empire. The Rani Bagh ( Sindhi: راڻي باغ, ), previously known as Das Garden, is a zoological garden located in Hyderabad, Sindh, Pakistan. The garden was re-christened in honour of Queen Victoria. It was established as a botanical garden in 1861 by the then Agro-horticultural Society and later animals were moved in. Rani Bagh is the largest recreational facility in the city of Hyderabad, spread over of land, divided into four parts. The four parts included Eidgah, the Abbas Bhai Park, zoo and lawns, children parks, jogging tracks, artificial lake on 50,000-square-feet for boating purposes and parking area. Gatwala Wildlife Park is a wildlife park, botanical garden and breeding center located in the town of Gatwala in Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan. It is situated near Khurrianwala and away from Lahore Zoo. It is the largest park of Faisalabad. Gatwala Forest Park is a huge compound of more than 100 km2 that houses forest areas, parks, lakes and administrative buildings of the Ministry of Forestry, Government of Pakistan.
