The Adana derby ( tr, Adana derbisi) is a local derby that takes place between Adanaspor and Adana Demirspor, the two professional football league teams based in Adana. The derby is the semi-annual attestation of the rivalry for citywide support and domination which dates back to 1956. It is a rivalry that is rooted in socio-economic divisions, in which Adana Demirspor are originally the club of workers and landowners, Adanaspor are the club of merchants and artisans. Adana derby is considered to be one of the biggest derby matches outside Istanbul. Adana Demirspor
Adana Demirspor Kulübü is a sports club based in Adana, Turkey. Founded by railway workers in 1940, the club is competitive in football, watersports, racquet sports and martial arts. Football team's thriving success at the Adana League and the water polo team's unbeaten National League titles in the first three decades, built a large worker fan base in the city and attracted landowners to finance the club. Adanaspor
Adanaspor is a Turkish professional football club based in Adana, currently performing at the TFF First League. The club is founded in 1954 by the middle-class merchants and artisans in response to the alienation within city's then most popular club, Adana Demirspor, who were supported by workers, financed by landowners and governed by TCDD staff. Having played their first game in 1956 and became known as Adana derby, both clubs compete for the citywide support and domination since then. Adanaspor jersey colors, orange-white, symbolizes orange and cotton, the main harvests and believed by the club fans to be the true representation of the city.

Bucaspor
Bucaspor was a professional Turkish football club based in Buca, Izmir. Formed in 1928, Bucaspor were nicknamed Fırtına (Storm). The club colours were yellow and navy. It was dissolved in 2020. History Bucaspor was the fifth football club to be based in Izmir, following Karşıyaka S.K. (1912), Altay S.K. (1914), Altınordu S.K. (1923), and Göztepe A.Ş. (1925). Yellow and navy were chosen for the club colours. Former president Yusuf Muhafiz pushed to make red one of the colours of the club, to distinguish it from Istanbul-based club Fenerbahçe. The colour has since been removed. Bucaspor merged with Altay and Altınordu as Üçokspor in 1937. These clubs were separated again in 1939.
