Olena Volodymyrivna Zelenska (;russian: Елена Владимировна Зеленская, , Elena Vladimirovna Zelenskaya, born 6 February 1978) is a Ukrainian architect and screenwriter who is the current First Lady of Ukraine as the wife of President of Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Early life and career Olena Kiyashko was born in Kryvyi Rih on 6 February 1978. Her mother was the head engineer of a factory and her father taught construction at a technical university. Zelenska studied architecture at Kryvyi Rih National University. Maria-Ivanna Hrushevska (''née'': Wojakiwska; November 8, 1868 – September 19, 1948) was a spouse of Ukrainian political leader Mykhailo Hrushevsky. Maria-Ivanna Hrushevska, was born near Zboriv (Austria-Hungary) to Sylvester and Karolina Wojakowski. She met Hrushevsky in Lviv in 1893 and after three years they married in the town of Skala near Borschiv.
