FK Sarajevo Seasons
Fudbalski klub Sarajevo ( en, Sarajevo Football Club) is a professional football club based in Sarajevo, the capital city of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and is one of the most successful in the country. This is a season-by-season record of the club's league performances: SFR Yugoslavia (1946–1992) Bosnia and Herzegovina (1994–present) Notes :1 Goals in all competitions are counted. :2 From 1947–48 to 1951 the Yugoslav Second League was known as the United League (Jedinstvena liga). :3 The 1952 season was shortened and sped-up. The reason for the change was a desire to implement the fall-spring competition format. The competition took place in two phases. In the first clubs were divided into two preliminary groups of 6 teams. Based on their ranking at the end of preliminary groups they were promoted to three further groups: Title, Central and Relegation. FK Sarajevo
Fudbalski klub Sarajevo (; English: Sarajevo Football Club) is a professional football club based in Sarajevo, the capital city of Bosnia and Herzegovina and is one of the most successful clubs in the country. Founded on 24 October 1946, FK Sarajevo was the most successful club from SR Bosnia and Herzegovina in the former SFR Yugoslavia, winning two Yugoslav First League titles, finishing runners-up on two other occasions and placing 6th in that competition's all-time table. Today, FK Sarajevo is one of the most prominent members of the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where it has won five Bosnian championships, seven Bosnian Cups and one Bosnian Supercup. Furthermore, the club finished runners-up in the national championship another seven times. 1955–56 Yugoslav First League
The 1955–56 Yugoslav First League season was the tenth season of the First Federal League (Serbian: ''Prva savezna liga'', Croatian: ''Prva savezna liga''), the top level association football competition of SFR Yugoslavia, since its establishment in 1946. Fourteen teams contested the competition, with Red Star Belgrade, Red Star winning their third title. 1962–63 Intertoto Cup
The 1962–63 Intertoto Cup was won by Slovnaft Bratislava after defeating Calcio Padova in the final. A total of 32 clubs contested the tournament, including the first clubs from France, Italy, Hungary and Yugoslavia to participate in the Intertoto Cup. 1960–61 Yugoslav First League
The 1960–61 Yugoslav First League season was won by FK Partizan, which was the club's third title and its first in twelve years. The season was also a coming-out party of sorts for the club's talented new generation of young players known as "Partizan's babies" that would dominate Yugoslav football for the next few years and would even go on to make it to the 1966 European Cup final. The season began later than usual in order to accommodate the Yugoslav Olympic national team's late August and early September 1960 participation at the 1960 Rome Olympics where they won the gold medal with a roster consisting entirely of players from the Yugoslav First League. The 1960 Mitropa Cup was the 20th season of the Mitropa association football, football club tournament. It was contested as a competition between countries and there was no elimination. Zijad Arslanagić
Zijad Arslanagić (April 18, 1936 – January 7, 2020) was a Bosnian football player. He had one cap for the Yugoslav national team. Club career After beginning to play in a minor local club in his home town, FK Gimnazijalac, he signed with the city's most prominent club FK Leotar where he played between 1953 and 1956. In 1956 he moved because of the military service to Zemun, and afterwards, for a short while, he played with local club FK IM Rakovica. In 1958 he began playing for FK Sarajevo and played with them in the Yugoslav First League until 1964 when he moved to NK Olimpija Ljubljana. In 1967, he moved abroad and played one season with Belgian First Division club K. Salih Šehović
Salih Šehović (11 May 1936 – 27 January 2022) was a Bosnian professional footballer who played as a forward and spent most of his career in FK Sarajevo. He is the club's third ranked all time goalscorer, behind Dobrivoje Živkov and legendary Asim Ferhatović Asim Ferhatović "Hase" (; 24 January 1933 – 25 January 1987) was a Bosnian professional footballer who played as a striker. He started his football career in 1948 with hometown club FK Sarajevo, for whom he made his first-team debut in 1952. .... He scored 75 goals in 181 official matches for them.
