FC Bansko
Bansko ( bg, Банско) is a Bulgarian professional association football club from the town of Bansko, currently playing in the South-West Third League, the third division of Bulgarian football. Its home matches take place at the Saint Petar Stadium. The club was founded in 1951. Until the 2008–09 season, the team participated in either the amateurs Bulgarian divisions. After the union by the two clubs from Blagoevgrad – "Pirin" and "Pirin 1931", FC Bansko took licence of Pirin for participation in the West B Group. History Bansko was founded in 1951. Bansko ( bg, Банско ) is a town in southwestern Bulgaria, located at the foot of the Pirin Mountains at an elevation of 1200m above sea level. It is a ski resort. Legends There are several legends about who founded Bansko. According to one, Bansko was founded by people who lived in Dobarsko, a village in Rila, itself, according to a legend, founded by the blinded army of Tsar Samuil. Another legend claims that Bansko was founded by an Italian painter by the name of Ciociolino, hence the existence of the name Chucholin in Bansko. Still according to another version it was a Slavic tribe called the Peruns, who lived in Pirin and worshiped Perun, that founded the village later to become a town. 2012–13 Bulgarian Cup
The 2012–13 Bulgarian Cup was the 31st official season of the Bulgarian annual football knockout tournament. The competition began on 13 October 2012 with the matches of the preliminary round and ended with the final on 15 May 2013. Ludogorets Razgrad were the defending champions, but were eliminated by CSKA Sofia in the second round. Beroe Stara Zagora won the title, their second overall, after defeating Levski Sofia in the final by penalties. The winners of the competition, Beroe Stara Zagora, qualified for the second qualifying round of the 2013–14 UEFA Europa League. 2009–10 Bulgarian Cup
The 2009–10 Bulgarian Cup was the 28th official season of the Bulgarian annual football knockout tournament. The competition began on September 16, 2009 with the matches of the Preliminary Round and ended with the final on May 5, 2010. Litex Lovech are the defending champions. Beroe won the competition, beating Chernomorets Pomorie in the finals at Gradski. As such, they qualified for the third qualifying round of the 2010–11 UEFA Europa League. Aleksandar Tomash ( bg, Александър Томаш; born 2 September 1978 in Veliko Tarnovo) is a Bulgarian football manager and former player. During his playing career as a defender, he made several appearances for CSKA Sofia, OFI Crete, Metalurh Zaporizhya, Cherno More Varna, FC Baku, Slavia Sofia, Beroe Stara Zagora and Etar 1924 Veliko Tarnovo. Voyn Voynov
Voyn Yordanov Voynov ( bg, Войн Йорданов Войнов; born 7 September 1952) is a former Bulgarian footballer who played as a winger. Voynov started playing in 1972 and spent the whole of his career as a player in Levski Sofia until 1981. He played 226 games and scored 36 goals in A PFG all for Levski. He played a quarter final for the UEFA Cup in 1976 and for the Cup Winners' Cup in 1977. He played for the Bulgarian national team in 32 games and took part in World Cup tournament in 1974 with it. Voinov was known as a fast and technical player. Bulgarian B Football Group
The Bulgarian Second Professional Football League ( bg, Втора професионална футболна лига, Vtora Profesionalna Futbolna Liga), also known as Second League ( bg, Втора Лига) or Vtora liga, is the second level of the Bulgarian football league system, below First League and above the Third League. Sixteen teams take part in the league, each playing twice against all the other, once home and once away. Most matches are played on Saturdays and Sundays. The league is administered by the Bulgarian Professional Football League. In 2016, the B Group's name was rebranded to Second Professional Football League. The Bulgarian Third Amateur Football League ( bg, Трета аматьорска футболна лига, Treta Amat'orska Futbolna Liga), commonly referred to as Third League ( bg, Трета лига) or Treta liga, is the third level of the Bulgarian football league system. Third League operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the second and the fourth tier of the Bulgarian football league pyramid – respectively being Second League and the A Oblast Groups. Krasimir Durchov ( bg, Красимир Дурчов; born 19 May 1979) is a football defender from Bulgaria currently playing for Bansko in the South-West Third League. Durchov previously captained PFC Vihren Sandanski before joining Rodopa Smolyan in July 2004. He played two Bulgarian first division matches for Rodopa before being released in late 2005. Angel Yusev ( bg, Ангел Юсев; born 23 July 1988) is a Bulgarian footballer who currently plays as a goalkeeper. Career Yusev started the 2012–13 A PFG season in Pirin Gotse Delchev as an understudy to Abdi Abdikov. He made his A PFG debut on 2 March 2013, starting in goal in a 2–0 defeat to Minyor Pernik.
