European Masters (curling)
The EURONICS European Masters was an annual bonspiel, or curling tournament, that takes place at the Sports Center Lerchenfeld in St. Gallen, Switzerland. The tournament, held as the final event of the Curling Champions Tour, started in 2013. A women's event was added in 2015. It was last held in 2017. St. Gallen would not host a World Curling Tour event again until 2022 with the creation of the St. Galler Elite Challenge. Sven Michel (curler)
Sven Michel (born 30 March 1988) is a Swiss curler from Matten. He won a gold medal for Switzerland at the 2013 European Curling Championships and skipped Switzerland at the 2014 Winter Olympics. Career As a junior curler, Michel won the bronze medal at the 2007 World Junior Curling Championships, playing third for Christian von Gunten. Michel won a silver medal at the 2010 European Mixed Curling Championship, playing second for Claudio Pätz. Kyle Waddell (born 15 December 1993 in Bellshill) is a Scottish curler from Hamilton, Scotland. He currently skips his own team. In 2018, he competed for Great Britain at the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea, placing fifth. Johan Niklas Edin (born 6 July 1985) is a Swedish curler. He currently resides in Karlstad, which has been his curling home base since 2008. He holds several sport distinctions.
