Enterprise (computer)
The Enterprise is a Zilog Z80-based home computer announced in 1983, but through a series of delays, not commercially available until 1985. The specification as released was powerful and one of the higher end in its class (though not by the margin envisaged in 1983). This was due to the use of ASICs for graphics and sound which took workload away from the CPU, an extensive implementation of ANSI BASIC and a bank switching system to allow for larger amounts of RAM than the Z80 natively supported. It also featured a distinctive and colourful case design, and promise of multiple expansion options. Ultimately it was not commercially successful, after multiple renames, delays and a changing market place. Its manufacturer calling in the receivers in 1986 with significant debt. USS ''Enterprise'' NCC-1701-A (or ''Enterprise''-A, to distinguish it from other vessels with the same name) is a fictional starship in three ''Star Trek'' films. It made its debut in the final scene of the 1986 film '' Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home''. Origin and design Visual effects supervisor Ken Ralston had hoped the ''Enterprise'''s destruction in ''The Search for Spock'' would open the door to designing a new model for future films. ''Enterprise NX-01'' is a fictional spaceship that appears in the American science fiction television series ''Star Trek: Enterprise''. It had the in-universe registration of NX-01 and appeared earlier in the franchise timeline than any other Starfleet ship named ''Enterprise''. The ship is first seen in the pilot episode " Broken Bow" and was seen throughout the series undergoing various upgrades. ''Enterprice'' is a British comedy-drama written by, and starring Kayode Ewumi. The show's co-stars are Trieve Blackwood-Cambridge, Thea Gajic, Roger Griffiths, and Tanya Moodie. ''Enterprice'' portrays two young entrepreneurs from South London: Kazim (Ewumi) and Jeremiah (Blackwood-Cambridge) as they try to escape the hustle and get their brand new delivery service business "Speedi-Kazz" off the ground. ''Enterprise'' is the soundtrack for the first season of ''Star Trek: Enterprise''. It features the opening title song, " Where My Heart Will Take Me", as sung by Russell Watson, alongside instrumental compositions by Dennis McCarthy. Background McCarthy first became involved in composing music for ''Star Trek'' with the first episode of '' Star Trek: The Next Generation'', "Encounter At Farpoint". He went on to work on several more ''Star Trek'' series, along with the film ''Star Trek Generations''. He won an Emmy Award for his composition of the theme tune for '' Star Trek: Deep Space Nine''.
