Emmanuel College, formerly St. Paul's College, is a dual-campus independent Roman Catholic comprehensive co-educational secondary day school, occupying campuses in Altona North and Point Cook, in the south-western suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. History Establishment St. Paul's Campus was originally established as 'St. Paul's College' in 1965, under the auspices of the American Order of the Society of Marianists. The order had been invited to establish this Catholic Secondary Boys' College by the then Archbishop of Melbourne, Daniel Mannix. Emmanuel College is a Catholic, co-educational, secondary college in Warrnambool, Victoria, Australia. The college is situated on three campuses in Warrnambool, located at the end of the Great Ocean Road in Victoria's Western District. The college is co-sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy who established St Ann's College in 1872 and the Congregation of Christian Brothers who founded St Joseph's Christian Brothers' College in 1902. Emmanuel College is the theological college of Victoria University in the University of Toronto. Affiliated with the United Church of Canada, it is also a member institution of the Toronto School of Theology. The college's principal is HyeRan Kim-Cragg. Emmanuel College, Cambridge
Emmanuel College is a constituent college of the University of Cambridge. The college was founded in 1584 by Sir Walter Mildmay, Chancellor of the Exchequer to Elizabeth I. The site on which the college sits was once a priory for Dominican monks, and the College Hall is built on the foundations of the monastery's nave. Emmanuel is one of the 16 "old colleges", which were founded before the 17th century. Emmanuel today is one of the larger Cambridge colleges; it has around 500 undergraduates, reading almost every subject taught within the University, and over 150 postgraduates. Among Emmanuel's notable alumni are Thomas Young, John Harvard, Graham Chapman and Sebastian Faulks. Emmanuel College, Gateshead
Emmanuel College is a secondary school and sixth form college (years 7-13) based in Gateshead, England. It was founded in 1990 as a City Technology College, i.e. a secondary school which is partly funded by donations from business donors who remain involved in management of the college. Emmanuel is currently one of the three remaining City Technology Colleges in England as the remainder have converted to academies. Emmanuel has up to 1,350 students aged between 11 and 19, and over 160 staff. It is part of Emmanuel Schools Foundation and in each of its four Ofsted inspections it has achieved a status of "Outstanding School". Emmanuel University is a private Christian college in Franklin Springs, Georgia. It is affiliated with the International Pentecostal Holiness Church and enrolls more than 900 students. The college offers both associate and bachelor's degrees. History Emmanuel University was founded in 1919 as the Franklin Springs Institute in Franklin Springs, Georgia. In its first years it taught high school courses grades eight through eleven and three college-level courses. The first buildings were two hotels and a skating rink. In 1931, the college was forced to close for two years during the Great Depression. Emmanuel College is a private Roman Catholic college in Boston, Massachusetts. The college was founded by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur as the first women's Catholic college in New England in 1919. In 2001, the college officially became a coeducational institution. It is somewhat selective, admitting 74% of applicants. It is a member of the Colleges of the Fenway consortium.
