''Earthdawn'' is a fantasy role-playing game, originally produced by FASA Corporation, FASA in 1993. In 1999 it was licensed to Living Room Games, which produced the ''Second Edition''. It was licensed to RedBrick Limited, RedBrick in 2003, who released the Classic Edition in 2005 and the game's Third Edition in 2009 (the latter through Mongoose Publishing's Flaming Cobra imprint). The license is now held by FASA Games, Inc. (from FASA Corporation, FASA), who have released the Fourth Edition, with updated mechanics and an advanced metaplot timeline. Vagrant Workshop released the ''Age of Legend'' edition in 2016 using alternative Role-playing_game_terms#R_2, rules-lite mechanics. The game is similar to fantasy games like ''Dungeons & Dragons'', but draws more inspiration from games like ''RuneQuest''. Greg Gorden
Greg Gorden is an American game designer who has worked primarily on role-playing games. Career Greg Gorden has worked for several gaming companies: * For Victory Games (Avalon Hill), Victory Games he participated, during the early 1980s, in the design of the ''James Bond 007 (role-playing game), James Bond 007'' role-playing game (1983). * For Mayfair Games he was in 1985 the main designer of the ''DC Heroes'' role-playing game. Also for Mayfair Games, partnering with White Wolf Publishing, White Wolf, he designed ''D.O.A.'', but the game was not published. * For West End Games Gorden brought help to Greg Costikyan and the WEG team in the design of all the editions of ''Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game'' (1987, 1992 and 1996).
