''Viburnum opulus'', the guelder-rose or guelder rose () is a species of flowering plant in the family Adoxaceae (formerly Caprifoliaceae) native to Europe, northern Africa and central Asia. Callinicus IV ( el, ), born Constantine Mavrikios ( el, ), (1713 – 1791) was Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople for a few months in 1757 and a writer and scholar. Callinicus IV is sometime numbered as Callinicus III because his predecessor Callinicus, who was elected in 1726 but died before being enthroned, is sometimes not counted amongst the patriarchs. Călin Constantin Anton Popescu-Tăriceanu (; born 14 January 1952) is a Romanian politician who was Prime Minister of Romania from 29 December 2004 to 22 December 2008. Călin Peter Netzer (; born 1 May 1975) is a Romanian film director who won the Golden Bear at the 63rd Berlin International Film Festival. Born in Petroșani to a family of Romanian and German origins, Netzer emigrated with his family to West Germany in 1983. In 1994, he returned to Romania in order to study film direction at the Academy of Theatre and Film in Bucharest. Ottoi Călin (March 1886 – 1 April 1917) was a Romanian physician, journalist and socialist militant, considered one of the theoreticians of the Romanian workers' movement during the early 20th century. Early life and education Călin was born in a poor Jewish family in Iași, in north-eastern Romania. After finishing high school, he obtained a medical degree from the local university. During his teen years, along with other young students, he frequented the ''Circle of Social Studies'' organized by socialists Leon Ghelerter and Max Vexler.
