Côte D'Émeraude
The Côte d'Émeraude ( br, Aod an Emrodez; ) is a name given to a part of the English Channel coast of eastern Brittany near the border with Normandy in France. Etymology Lawyer and historian Eugène Herpin coined the name Côte d'Émeraude in 1890. He was inspired by the "symphonie" of the colours of the sea and shore. The name was inspired by the branding success of the Côte d'Azur in encouraging tourism and development. Geography The coast stretches across 120 km between Pointe du Grouin in Cancale and Cap Fréhel in Plévenon, is located in the Côtes-d'Armor and Ille-et-Vilaine departments, and includes the Rance estuary, Dinard, and Saint-Malo. The Bay of Saint-Brieuc lies to its west and Mont-Saint-Michel Bay lies to its east. The official Communauté de communes Côte d'Émeraude does not cover the entire area. Erquy
Erquy (; ; Gallo: ''Erqi'') is a commune in the Côtes-d'Armor department of Brittany in northwestern France. Erquy is located in a cove of the Penthièvre coast bordered by cape Erquy on one side and a volcanic rock formation called ''pointe de la Heussaye'' on the other. Erquy harbour shelters a flotilla of about 80 trawlers and the town is known as the scallop "capital". The shellfish are collected in the Saint-Brieuc bay. With its ten fine sand beaches and lovely pink sandstone houses, Erquy is a popular summer tourist destination. It is also to note that Erquy claims to be the inspiration behind the village for the Asterix comics as it is also in Armorica which is modern day Brittany in France. Mont-Saint-Michel Bay
The Mont-Saint-Michel Bay (french: baie du Mont-Saint-Michel, br, Bae Menez-Mikael) is located between Brittany (to the south west) and the Normandy peninsula of Cotentin (to the south and east). The bay was listed as a UNESCO world heritage site in 1979 for its aesthetic quality and its importance to the Christian tradition. Due to the significant tidal movements in this region (over 10 meters) a large part of the bay is uncovered at low tide. Saint-Malo
Saint-Malo (, , ; Gallo: ; ) is a historic French port in Ille-et-Vilaine, Brittany, on the English Channel coast. The walled city had a long history of piracy, earning much wealth from local extortion and overseas adventures. In 1944, the Allies heavily bombarded Saint-Malo, which was garrisoned by German troops. The city changed into a popular tourist centre, with a ferry terminal serving the Channel Islands of Jersey and Guernsey, as well as the Southern English settlements of Portsmouth, Hampshire and Poole, Dorset. Dinard

Cap Fréhel
Cap Fréhel is a peninsula in Côtes-d'Armor, in northern Brittany, France which extends off the Côte d'Émeraude into the Golfe de Saint-Malo. No towns or villages are situated on the peninsula; however, two lighthouses, one from the 17th century and the other one from 1950, are located at the tip of it. The Cap is located 8.5 km from the town centre of Fréhel, although, administratively, it is located within the territory of the ''commune'' of Plévenon. The peninsula is surrounded mainly by cliffs, which make it difficult to access it via sea. The whole of the undulating terrain is covered in moorland and marshes, which make it difficult to construct any structure on the site.
