Académie Des Arts Et Techniques Du Cinéma
The Académie des Arts et Techniques du Cinéma ( en, Academy of Cinema Arts and Techniques) is an organization that gives out the César Award. It was created in 1975, on the initiative of Georges Cravenne. Board of directors The board is made up of 50 members, with an additional 13 selected for their contributions to cinema. They handle admissions, criteria and overall management. Protests over the structure of the board came to a head in February 2020. An open letter signed by over 400 French directors and actors decried the "opaqueness" of the Board's structure and the lack of democratic governance; members of the Academy do not vote on leadership, unlike similar organizations such as Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the Motion Picture Academy or the BAFTA. Michel Bouquet
Michel Bouquet (6 November 1925 – 13 April 2022) was a French stage and film actor. He appeared in more than 100 films from 1947 to 2020. He won the Best Actor European Film Award for '' Toto the Hero'' in 1991 and two Best Actor Césars for ''How I Killed My Father'' (2001) and ''The Last Mitterrand'' (2005). He also received the Molière Award for Best Actor for ''Les côtelettes'' in 1998, then again for ''Exit the King'' in 2005. In 2014, he was awarded the Honorary Molière for the sum of his career. Jean-Louis Xavier Trintignant (; 11 December 1930 – 17 June 2022) was a French actor.
