Czech Women's Cup
The Czech Women's Cup (Czech: ''Pohár Komise fotbalu žen'' or ''Pohár KFŽ'') is the national women's football cup competition in the Czech Republic. It was founded in 2007. The first final was held on 21 June 2008 in Humpolec. Format Teams from the first two tiers of women's football are able to enter the cup. SK Slavia Prague (women)
SK Slavia Praha Ženy is a Czech women's football team from Prague representing SK Slavia Prague. It competes in the Czech First Division. History Slavia was a pioneer in women's football in Czechoslovakia, and won the first three editions of the Czech SR Championship between 1970 and 1972. It subsequently won six more trophies until 1989, when a final between the Czech and Slovak champions was organized. Slavia were the Czechoslovakian champions in 1992 and 1993. However, rivals Sparta Prague gained the upper hand in the new Czech League following the dissolution of Czechoslovakia. Slavia won the championship for the first time in 2003 and played the 2003-04 UEFA Women's Cup, where it was knocked out in the group stage by defending champion Umea IK. Čelákovice
Čelákovice () is a town in Prague-East District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 12,000 inhabitants. The town is part of the Prague metropolitan area. Czech Cup
The Czech Cup ( cs, Pohár FAČR), officially known as the MOL Cup for sponsorship reasons, is the major men's football cup competition in the Czech Republic. It is organised by the Czech Football Association. The Czech Cup was first held in 1961. The winner would then face the winner of the Slovak Cup in the Czechoslovak Cup final. This competition was discontinued in 1993, after the dissolution of Czechoslovakia into two independent states (Czech Republic and Slovakia). The winner gains entry to the following season's UEFA Europa League. Velké Meziříčí (; german: Groß Meseritsch) is a town in Žďár nad Sázavou District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 11,000 inhabitants. Penalty Shootout
The penalty shootout is a method of determining a winner in sports matches that would have otherwise been drawn or tied. The rules for penalty shootouts vary between sports and even different competitions; however, the usual form is similar to penalty shots in that a single player takes one shot on goal from a specified spot, the only defender being the goalkeeper. If the result is still tied, the shootout usually continues on a "goal-for-goal" basis, with the teams taking shots alternately, and the one that scores a goal unmatched by the other team is declared the winner.
