The Czech Republic competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Originally scheduled to take place from 24 July to 9 August 2020, the Games were postponed to 23 July to 8 August 2021, because of the COVID-19 pandemic. It was the nation's seventh consecutive appearance at the Summer Olympics after splitting from the former ''Czechoslovakia''. David Kostelecký
David Kostelecký (; born May 12, 1975, in Brno, Czechoslovakia,) is a male Czech sports shooter. He won the gold medal in the Men's Trap event at the 2008 Summer Olympics and the silver medal in the same event at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Sports career He started shooting after receiving an air rifle from his grandfather, a hunter, and following his older brother. Being a junior, he was labeled unperspective, as he stated in 2021. Lukáš Rohan (; born 30 May 1995) is a Czech slalom canoeist who has competed at the international level since 2010. He is from Mělník, Czech Republic but lives and trains in Prague. Lukáš now competes solely in the C1 discipline, however he competed in the C2 discipline alongside Adam Svoboda and Martin Říha at different times between 2010 and 2015. Lukáš Krpálek
Lukáš Krpálek (; born 15 November 1990) is a Czech heavyweight judoka. He is a former world champion (2019) and European champion (2014), former and current Olympic Champion (2016, 2020). He is the most successful judoka in Czech and Czechoslovak history, and was named Czech Judoka of the Year eight times between 2008 and 2015.
