Cuyutlán
Cuyutlán is a town in the Mexico, Mexican Mexican state, state of Colima, on the Pacific Ocean. Cuyutlán belongs to the municipality of Armería (municipality of Colima), Armería. There is also a Lagoon of Cuyutlán, which belongs to Armería and Manzanillo, Colima, Manzanillo, the main Mexican harbour on the Pacific Ocean. Fleur de sel, Sea salt is produced there and has been since pre Columbian times. The process of salt mining can be viewed at the Museum of Salt (''el Museo de la Sal''). Cuyutlán's ''El Paraiso'' Beach is home to a turtle sanctuary dedicated to protecting and conserving 3 species of turtles. These turtles come to Colima's coastline to lay eggs. Possible construction of a chemical plant producing ammonium and urea was announced in Cuyutlán. Various local groups including ''Unidos por Cuyutlán'' and ''Sociedad Cooperativa de Salineros del Estado de Colima'' oppose the construction of the chemical plant. Colima
Colima, officially the Free and Sovereign State of Colima, is among the 31 states that make up the 32 Federal Entities of Mexico. It shares its name with its capital and main city, Colima. Colima is a small state of western Mexico on the central Pacific coast, and includes the four oceanic Revillagigedo Islands. Mainland Colima shares borders with the states of Jalisco and Michoacán. Fleur De Sel
''Fleur de sel'' ("flower of salt" in French; ) or ''flor de sal'' (also "flower of salt" in Portuguese, Spanish and Catalan) is a salt that forms as a thin, delicate crust on the surface of seawater as it evaporates.
