Cutfather
Mich Hedin Hansen (born 9 April 1968), known professionally as Cutfather, is a Danish record producer, music producer, songwriter, remixer and Disc jockey, DJ based in Copenhagen. Cutfather has a studio on Njalsgade, Copenhagen. Career Cutfather is perhaps best known for his remix of "Return of the Mack" by Mark Morrison (1996), and the song "Superstar (Christine Milton song), Superstar" recorded by Christine Milton (2002) and Jamelia (2003). Cutfather has previously worked with Joe Belmaati in the songwriting and production team Cutfather & Joe. As part of the Cutfather & Joe partnership, he wrote, produced and remixed for Peter Andre, Another Level (group), Another Level, Damage (British group), Damage, Lighthouse Family, Ace of Base, Westlife, Blue (English band), Blue, Jamelia, Shayne Ward, Lee Ryan, Lemar, Blazin' Squad and Kylie Minogue. Soulshock & Cutfather
Soulshock & Cutfather was a Danish production duo active in the late 1980s and early 1990s, made up of Carsten Schack, better known as Soulshock, and Mich Hedin Hansen, better known as Cutfather. They formed a producer and DJ duo making a name by remixing for Danish artists such as Lis Sørensen ("Mine øjne de skal se"), Cut'N'Move ("Get Serious" and "Spread Love"), Laid Back ("Bakerman") and Back to Back ("Jonathan"). In 1990, they together started a record label, Soulpower Productions, as part of Medley Records, where they particularly produced Yasmin and Cut'N'Move. Several times they won mixing championships produced for Queen Latifah and Ultra Naté. The duo collaboration ended with Carsten Schack immigrating to the United States and soon after forming the duo Soulshock & Karlin with Kenneth Karlin. Blazin' Squad were an English hip hop group. The group had seven top ten hits, including "Crossroads", a cover version of the Bone Thugs-n-Harmony original.
