"Crush" is the third single by British rapper Fugative, featuring Troy & Martika of the British group Ruff Diamondz. It was released as a Digital Download on 9 May 2010, with the CD single being released the following day. According to the Official Chart Update, it became Fugative's most successful single to date. On 16 May 2010 the single entered the UK Singles Chart at number 26, making it his first Top 40 hit. Fugative
Harry James Byart (born 11 March 1994), better known by his former stage name Fugative, is an English rapper. He worked with Kirk Burrowes in April 2009 in Atlanta the former manager of Mary J. Blige and co-founder of Bad Boy Records after Burrowes was contacted by Byart's mother Gloria who previously worked as a publicist to Marvin Gaye. Fugative has been favourably received by BBC Radio One's Nick Grimshaw who proclaimed, "I want this kid's nuts!" on his ''Switch'' Fugative also released "The Departure" Mixtape in 2010. RD (group)
RD, also known as Ruff Diamondz, were a British girl group from London comprising Julie "Chronz" Norton, Martika Lecointe-Akore, and Troy Hudson. The group were formed in 2009 when a manager introduced the members to each other via Myspace. They subsequently spent six months training in fitness, choreography, singing and styling before they performed live for the first time. In September 2010, Ruff Diamondz released a mixtape titled ''The Intro of RD aka Ruff Diamondz'', followed by their debut single "Do It Like Me" in November 2010 via Polydor Records. They were profiled in ''The Guardian'' as the newspaper's "New Band of the Week" in October 2010. Also during 2010, Ruff Diamondz toured the United Kingdom with JLS on their arena tour and N-Dubz on the MOBO Awards tour. Contemporary R&B (or simply R&B) is a popular music genre that combines rhythm and blues with elements of pop, soul, funk, hip hop, and electronic music. Shahid Khan ( ur, شاهد خان; born 1 January 1981), better known by his stage name Naughty Boy, is a British DJ, record producer, songwriter and musician. In 2012, Khan signed a three–year publishing deal with Sony ATV, as well as a recording contract to release one album under Virgin EMI Records. Khan launched himself as a record producer under the moniker "Naughty Boy" and runs his own production company called Naughty Boy Recordings. He has produced two records for rappers Chipmunk and Wiley, both featuring Emeli Sandé.
