"Cruisin'" is a 1979 single written, produced, and recorded by Smokey Robinson for Motown Records' Tamla label. One of Robinson's most successful singles outside of his work with The Miracles, "Cruisin'" hit number one on the U.S. '' Cash Box'' Top 100 and was also a major '' Billboard'' Pop hit, peaking at number four the week of February 2, 1980. Vincent Eugene Craddock (February 11, 1935 – October 12, 1971), known as Gene Vincent, was an American musician who pioneered the styles of rockabilly and rock and roll. His 1956 top ten hit with his backing band the Blue Caps, " Be-Bop-a-Lula", is considered a significant early example of rockabilly. His chart career was brief, especially in his home country of the US, where he notched three top 40 hits in 1956 and '57, and never charted in the top 100 again. Cruisin' Classics was a series of oldies music compilations released onto audiocassette from 1989-1990 by Shell Oil. About the series The idea of the tape albums as described in a 1990 edition of ''The Stanford Daily'', was to tailor them to a different cruising era. The covers of the cassette albums would feature a certain car from that era. A Chevy Bel-Air was on the cover of ''Volume VI'' album which featured the classics, "Blue Moon" by The Marcels, Runaround Sue by Dion, Yakety Yak by The Coasters and "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On" by The Killer. The cover of ''Volume IV'' featured a Ford Mustang. is a 1985 platform game developed by NMK and published in arcades by Jaleco. It was released in North America by Kitkorp as ''Cruisin. The player controls Clarice in her Honda City hatchback and must drive over elevating roads to paint them. Clarice is constantly under pursuit by police cars, which she can take out by launching oil cans at them, temporarily stunning them, and then ramming into them with her car. The design of was inspired by maze chase games like ''Pac-Man'' (1980) and ''Crush Roller'' (1981). ''Elite Beat Agents'' is a rhythm video game developed by iNiS and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo DS. It was released in North America, Europe and South Korea. As the second of three rhythm games developed by iNiS specifically for the DS, it is the spiritual sequel and international counterpart to ''Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan'', a Japanese rhythm game released in 2005, sharing many common elements with it.
