The Croatia national junior handball team is the national under-21/20 handball team of Croatia. Controlled by the Croatian Handball Federation that is an affiliate of the International Handball Federation IHF as well as a member of the European Handball Federation EHF, The team represents Croatia in international matches. History Despite being one of the strongest men's handball nations globally, Croatia have never managed to win the Crown of the IHF Men's Junior World Championship . Their best performance so far was Vice-Champions in the 2019 Edition in Spain. 2017 Men's Junior World Handball Championship
The 2017 IHF Men's Junior World Championship was the 21st edition of the tournament, held in Algiers, Algeria from 18 to 30 July 2017. It was the first time that Algeria staged the competition, and the third time that it was held in Africa. Spain won their first title by defeating Denmark 39–38 in the final. 2015 Men's Junior World Handball Championship
The 2015 IHF Men's Junior World Championship was the 20th edition of the tournament and held at Brazil from 19 July to 1 August 2015. The decision to select Brazil as the host was announced 1 August 2014. France won their first title by defeating Denmark 26–24 in the final. Host cities The tournament took place entirely in Minas Gerais. Matches will be held in the cities of Uberlândia and Uberaba. 2013 Men's Junior World Handball Championship
The 2013 IHF Men's Junior World Championship was the 19th edition of the tournament and was held in Bosnia and Herzegovina from 14 – 28 July 2013. The Oceania Continent Handball Federation withdrew from the tournament. Host cities Bosnia and Herzegovina was awarded hosting rights in May 2011, at the IHF XXXIII Ordinary Congress in Marrakech, Morocco. After long negotiations with local government, four cities were chosen to host the competition: capital Sarajevo with two halls and Banja Luka, Ljubuški and Zenica with one hall each.
