Critters (film Series)
The ''Critters'' franchise, includes American science fiction comedy-horror installments consisting of five feature films, and one television series. The original film was released in 1986 and received "two thumbs up" from Siskel and Ebert. Although widely believed to have been made to cash in on the success of the similarly themed ''Gremlins'', director Stephen Herek had refuted this in interviews, pointing out that the first ''Critters'' script was written by Domonic Muir long before ''Gremlins'' went into production, and subsequently underwent rewrites to reduce the similarities between the two films. ''Critters Attack!'' is a 2019 horror comedy film. It is a reboot of the 1986 film '' Critters'', and the fifth entry in the '' Critters'' film franchise. ''Critters 4'' is a 1992 American science fiction comedy horror film starring Don Keith Opper, Terrence Mann, Angela Bassett and Brad Dourif. It is the fourth installment in the ''Critters'' franchise, filmed simultaneously with part three, from February to July 1991. Unlike the first three films, this installment adopts a darker, less-comedic tone, and takes place not on Earth, but on a space station in the year 2045. David John Haskins (born 24 April 1957, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England), better known as David J, is a British alternative rock musician, producer, and writer.
