Crimean Tatars National Football Team
Crimean Tatars national football team is a football team representing Crimean Tatars in international tournaments. Temporary member NF-Board, ruled by the Crimean Tatar Football Union. The team is not associated with the Ukrainian Association of Football, but it is supported by the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People which in the Russian Federation recognised as an extremist organization. History The national team was formed in 2006 based on a university team of the Crimean Engineer and Pedagogical University and associated with revival and development of Crimean Tatars identity following dissolution of the Soviet Union and return of Crimean Tatars to Crimea. In 2006 the newly established team entered the ELF Cup tournament, organized by the Unrecognized Turkish Northern Cyprus Football Federation, a member of the NF-Board. Morphou
Morphou ( el, Μόρφου; tr, Omorfo or ) is a town in the northwestern part of Cyprus, under the ''de facto'' control of Northern Cyprus. It is the administrative center of the Güzelyurt District of Northern Cyprus. Having been a predominantly Greek Cypriot community before the 1974 Turkish invasion of Cyprus, the town is now inhabited by Turkish Cypriots. Football In Crimea
Football in Crimea is governed by the Republican Football Federation of Crimea. Since the Russian annexation of Crimea in 2014, the Federation joined the Russian Football Union. The professional clubs of Crimea were reincorporated under the Russian jurisdiction and placed in the Russian Second League, while previously competing in various Ukrainian leagues. Due to protest from the Football Federation of Ukraine, UEFA ordered to remove Crimean clubs from the Russian professional competitions and instead organized special competitions under auspices of a Crimean Football Union, while preserving the Republican Football Federation of Crimea. Crimean Premier League
The KFS Premier-Liga (russian: Премьер-лига КФС) or simply Crimean Premier League is a professional association football league in Crimea organized by the Crimean Football Union (Krymsky Futbolny Soyuz) and devised by Russia after UEFA refused to allow Crimean clubs to switch to the Russian leagues in the wake of the 2014 Russian annexation of Crimea. Just like its funding, most of the league's players come from the Russian mainland although it does field some local players. A couple of Brazilian and Ukrainian players who chose to play in the league are under a risk of personal sanctions from the Ukrainian Association of Football. In its third season attendance of the Crimean Premier League varied from about 3,500 spectators at one match to 300 at others. Not all the stadiums are up to standards. Crimea is not a member of FIFA nor of UEFA, but is a member of the unofficial organization ConIFA.
