A men's cricket event was held as part of the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou, China from 27 September to 7 October 2023. Fourteen team competed in the event, and the participating teams were seeded according to their T20I rankings as of 1 June 2023. India won the Gold Medal, while Afghanistan finished as runners-up. The Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) is a governing body of sports in Asia, currently with 45 member National Olympic Committees. Fareed Ahmad Malik (born 10 August 1994) is an Afghan cricketer. He made his One Day International (ODI) debut for Afghanistan against the United Arab Emirates on 2 December 2014. Afif Hossain Dhrubo (Bengali: আফিফ হোসেন ধ্রুব; born 22 September 1999) is a Bangladeshi cricketer. In February 2018, he was named in Bangladesh's Twenty20 International (T20I) squad for their series against Sri Lanka. He made his T20I debut for Bangladesh against Sri Lanka on 15 February 2018. Afsar Khan Zazai ( ps, افسر ځاځی; born 10 August 1993) is an Afghan cricketer. Afsar is a right-handed wicket-keeper batsman who is known for his batting skills. Noor Ali Zadran (Pashto: نور علی ځدراڼ; born 10 July 1988) is an Afghan cricketer.
