Crazy (Seal Song)
"Crazy" is a song written by the English singer Seal (musician), Seal and British songwriter Guy Sigsworth. It was produced by Trevor Horn for Seal's debut album, ''Seal (1991 album), Seal'' (1991) and became his first commercial hit. It reached the top five in the United Kingdom, while becoming his first top ten single in the United States. It has since been covered by several artists, including Alanis Morissette, whose version was released as a single from her 2005 compilation album, ''The Collection (Alanis Morissette album), The Collection''. Background and composition Seal wrote "Crazy" in 1990 inspired by the Berlin Wall, fall of the Berlin Wall and the Tiananmen Square protests of 1989, Tiananmen Square massacre in 1989. Seal Henry Olusegun Olumide Adeola Samuel (born 19 February 1963), known professionally as Seal, is a British singer. He has sold over 20 million records worldwide. Genius is an American digital media company founded on August 27, 2009, by Tom Lehman, Ilan Zechory, and Mahbod Moghadam. The site allows users to provide annotations and interpretation to song lyrics, news stories, sources, poetry, and documents. Originally launched as Rap Genius with a focus on hip-hop music, the company attracted the attention and support of celebrities, and venture capital enabling further growth. All Saints are an English girl group formed in London in 1993. They were founded as All Saints 1.9.7.5 by music manager Ron Tom, who later also founded Sugababes, with members Melanie Blatt, Shaznay Lewis, and Simone Rainford. Simply Red are a British soul and pop band formed in Manchester in 1985.
