Craig Sanders (ice Hockey)
Craig Sanders (born 1987) is an English director who graduated from Rose Bruford College with a BA (Hons) Theatre Studies. Craig was responsible for directing the Manchester production of Kafka's ''The Trial'' which played at Hope Mill Theatre and HOME MCR. The production later won a Manchester Theatre Award for "Best Fringe Production". In 2016, Craig directed ''Crimes Against Christmas'' at the Lichfield Garrick Theatre witNew Old Friendswho later won Creative Bath Award In 2017 Craig co-directed and choreographed ''The Dreaming'' at the Lichfield Garrick Theatre. Rose Bruford College
Rose Bruford College (formerly Rose Bruford College of Theatre & Performance) is a drama school in the south London suburb of Sidcup. The college has degree programmes in acting, actor musicianship, directing, theatre arts and various disciplines of stagecraft. Its undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications and programmes were validated by the University of Manchester, until it received taught degree awarding powers in 2017. Buxton Opera House
Buxton Opera House is in The Square, Buxton, Derbyshire, England. It is a 902-seat opera house that hosts the annual Buxton Festival and the International Gilbert and Sullivan Festival, among others, as well as pantomime at Christmas, musical theatre, musicals and other entertainments year-round. Manchester Theatre Awards
The Manchester Theatre Awards were established in 2011 to replace the Manchester Evening News Theatre Awards. The MEN awards, created in 1981 by Alan Hulme, the paper's theatre critic, had long been recognised as the most important theatrical prize-giving outside London and were an important part of the Greater Manchester theatrical calendar. When the Manchester Evening News withdrew its support, the critics already involved, led by Alan Hulme and his MEN successor Kevin Bourke, and with the support of the Greater Manchester theatres, set up a new organisation to carry on the awards. Lichfield Garrick Theatre
The Lichfield Garrick is a modern, purpose built theatre in Lichfield, a city in Staffordshire, England. The main auditorium seats 562 people and the Studio seats 157 people. The theatre is named after the 18th century actor David Garrick, who was brought up in Lichfield. The Garrick's program includes a variety of touring shows as well as its own productions. It is also used for plays and musicals by local amateur companies. Like most British theatres the Garrick also plays host to an annual Christmas pantomime. Cush Jumbo
Cush Jumbo (born 23 September 1985) is a British actress and writer. She is best known for her leading role as attorney Lucca Quinn in the CBS drama series ''The Good Wife'' (2015–16) and the CBS All Access spin-off series ''The Good Fight'' (2017–21). Jumbo starred as DC Bethany Whelan in the ITV crime drama series '' Vera'' (2012, 2015–16) and as Lois Habiba in the third series of ''Doctor Who'' spin-off ''Torchwood'' in 2009. National Theatre Connections
Connections (also referred to as New Connections and formerly Shell Connections and BT Connections) is the Royal National Theatre in London's annual youth theatre festival. It was founded in 1995 and sponsored by Royal Dutch Shell until 2007 when the Bank of America took over the sponsorship. The plays are also published by the National Theatre each year. Scheme The National Theatre annually commissions ten plays from established playwrights which are performed by youth theatre groups across the UK. Groups are invited to perform at Connections Festivals held at a professional theatre in their area. A random performance group from each play is then performed at the end of the Festival at the National Theatre.
