Craig Jones (musician)
Craig Michael Jones (born February 11, 1972), also known as 133, is an American musician. He is the former Sampler (musical instrument), sampler and keyboardist of the Heavy metal music, heavy metal band Slipknot (band), Slipknot, in which he was designated #5 amongst its nine member lineup. Jones joined the band in early 1996, shortly after the band had finished recording its demo album, ''Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat.''. Initially, he was brought in to replace Donnie Steele, one of the two original guitarists, though he moved on to Sampling (music), sampling and keyboards. Following the departure of fellow bandmate and drummer Joey Jordison in 2013, Jones was the second-longest-serving member of Slipknot. On June 7, 2023, Slipknot announced they parted ways with Jones, though the announcement was removed the same day. Joel McIver (born 10 February 1971) is a British author. His best-known work is ''Justice for All: The Truth About Metallica'', first published in 2004 and appearing in nine languages since then. ''Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses)'' is the third studio album by American heavy metal band Slipknot, released on May 25, 2004, by Roadrunner Records. A special edition, containing a bonus disc, was released on April 12, 2005. It is the band's only album produced by Rick Rubin. Following the band's tour to promote its second album in 2002, speculation regarding the future began. Some band members had already been involved in side projects including Murderdolls, To My Surprise, and the reformation of Stone Sour. In 2003, Slipknot moved into The Mansion to work on the album. The title refers the band's state origin, Iowa, which members have stated is one of their greatest sources of inspiration. Ross Robinson (born February 13, 1967) is an American record producer who discovered acts such as Korn, Glassjaw, The Blood Brothers, Slipknot, and Limp Bizkit. Robinson has also worked with Tech N9ne, The Cure, Sepultura, and many others.
