The County of Tatchera is one of the 37 counties of Victoria which are part of the cadastral divisions of Australia, used for land titles. It is located to the south of the Murray River, and to the south west of Swan Hill, with its western boundary at 143°E, and part of the southern boundary at 36°S. Victoria is a state in southeastern Australia. It is the second-smallest state with a land area of , the second most populated state (after New South Wales) with a population of over 6.5 million, and the most densely populated state in Australia (28 per km2). Berriwillock, Victoria
Berriwillock is a town in the Mallee region in the north-west of the Australian state of Victoria. Berriwillock is north-west of the state capital, Melbourne. Nearby towns include Boigbeat (about north west and Culgoa south east. Berriwillock is due west of the Murray River and is a vibrant grain producing community. Transport Berriwillock is adjacent to the Calder Highway, northwest of Melbourne. It was formerly served by the Berriwillock railway station on the Kulwin railway line. The line has not carried passenger services since 1977, but is still available for freight (bulk grain), and there are bulk grain silos at the station. Berriwillock Post Office opened on 16 April 1894 shortly after the arrival of the railway.
