County Of March
The County of March is a county (a cadastral division) in Queensland, Australia. The county consists of the Noosa area, plus the eastern parts of the Gympie and Fraser Coast regions. History March was first created by an Order in Council by the Governor of New South Wales on 30 December 1848. It was named by the Surveyor-General in honour of a medical practitioner based in the area. Brisbane River
The Brisbane River is the longest river in South East Queensland, Australia, and flows through the city of Brisbane, before emptying into Moreton Bay on the Coral Sea. John Oxley, the first European to explore the river, named it after the Governor of New South Wales, Sir Thomas Brisbane in 1823. The Woody Island Lighthouses are a pair of heritage-listed lighthouses at Big Woody Island in the Great Sandy Strait, Hervey Bay, Fraser Coast Region, Queensland, Australia. Rainbow Beach is a coastal rural town and locality in the Gympie Region, Queensland, Australia. In the , Rainbow Beach had a population of 1,249 people. It is a popular tourist destination, both in its own right and as a gateway to Fraser Island, with a vehicle ferry frequently running to the Southern point of Fraser Island.
