Count's 77
Count's 77 is a hard rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada. It was formed by legendary Danny "The Count" Koker, titular star of ''Counting Cars'', the History (U.S. TV channel), History Channel spinoff of ''Pawn Stars''. The band focuses on the rock genre of the 1970s and has been playing and performing since well before Koker's rise in the public eye. "The Count," who heads the band with lead vocals, is joined by John Zito (guitar), Stoney Curtis (guitar), Barry Barnes (bass guitar, bass) and Paul Disibio (drums) and the recently added Tommy Paris (keyboard instrument, keyboard). They are currently signed to Shrapnel Records. The number "77" in the band's name is a reference to the 1970s, the decade whose music is an inspiration to the band. Hard Rock
Hard rock or heavy rock is a loosely defined subgenre of rock music typified by aggressive vocals and distorted electric guitars. Hard rock began in the mid-1960s with the garage, psychedelic and blues rock movements. Pat Travers
Patrick Henry Travers (born April 12, 1954) is a Canadian rock guitarist, keyboardist and singer who began his recording career in the mid-1970s. Early life Travers was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. Soon after picking up the guitar at age 12, he saw Jimi Hendrix perform in Ottawa. Travers began playing in bands early in his teens; his first bands were the Music Machine (not to be confused with the Californian psychedelic/garage band of the same name), Red Hot, and Merge, which played in clubs in the Quebec area. While performing with Merge, he was noticed by rock artist Ronnie Hawkins, who invited Travers to perform with him. In his early twenties, Travers moved to London and signed a recording contract with the Polydor label. Dobro is an American brand of resonator guitars, currently owned by Gibson and manufactured by its subsidiary Epiphone. Slide guitar is a technique for playing the guitar that is often used in blues music. It involves playing a guitar while holding a hard object (a slide) against the strings, creating the opportunity for glissando effects and deep vibratos that reflect characteristics of the human singing voice. The Rio is a hotel and casino near the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada, United States. It is owned by Dreamscape Companies LLC and operated by Caesars Entertainment.
