Costante Bonazza
Costante Bonazza (6 March 1924 – 28 February 1980) was a Polish-Italian footballer who played as a right or central defender or attacking midfielder. He is best known for being the first Italian professional football player to play in Poland. Born in Ceriano Laghetto, Italy on 6 March 1924, he started playing in the youth squads of Ambrosiana, and later in the Italian minor leagues. He was severely impacted by World War II, as in July 1944 he was interned at the Auschwitz concentration camp and lost all the members of his family during the war. He was released in 1945, and decided to move to Poland. He later married a Polish woman named Eleonora, and acquired Polish citizenship. He worked also in 1949 as car fitter in garage of the Provincial Headquarters of the Milicja Obywatelska in Szczecin. Costante Degan (12 March 1930 – 1 July 1988) was an Italian politician. Biography Degan was born on 12 March 1930 in Mestre, Italy. He would get a degree in engineering before working as an engineer. Degan joined the Christian Democracy after a long youth militancy in the Catholic Action. He was municipal councilor in Venice, then in Dolo, he also served as Mayor of Venice for a few days in 1988. He was a Deputy from 1963 to 1983 and a Senator from 1983 until his death in 1988. Degan served several times as Undersecretary of State, subsequently he served as Minister of Health from 1983 to 1986 and as Minister of Merchant Navy from 1986 to 1987. As Minister of Health, Degan dealt with assisted fertilization and radioactivity. Costante Girardengo (; 18 March 1893 – 9 February 1978) was an Italian professional road bicycle racer, considered by many to be one of the finest riders in the history of the sport. He was the first rider to be declared a "Campionissimo" or "champion of champions" by the Italian media and fans. Costante Maltoni (14 February 1915 – 1 February 1980) was an Italian prelate of the Catholic Church who worked in the diplomatic service of the Holy See. Biography Costante Maltoni was born on 14 February 1915 in Forlimpopoli, in Italy. From an early age he was the author of popular prose passages, poems and essays, some of which were published in the magazine "Fiera letteraria". After completing his humanistic studies (gymnasium and classical high school) respectively in the seminaries of Bertinoro and Bologna, where he adds the four years in theology, Costante Maltoni was ordained a priest on June 26, 1938 in Forlimpopoli in the Church of S. Costante Tencalla (1593, Bissone - 1646, Warsaw) was a Swiss-Italian architect and sculptor. Life He trained in Rome and spent his early working life there before going to Poland with his uncle Matteo Castelli, who became Poland's first royal architect. Orazio Costante Grossoni (Milan, 1867–1952) was an Italian sculptor. Biography Grossoni studied at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan with Raffaele Casnedi and Ambrogio Borghi and worked in the studio of the sculptor Ernesto Bazzaro. He exhibited portraits and genre works at the first three editions of the Milan Triennale, winning the Fumagalli Prize in 1894. He also took part in the major events at the national and international level, including the Turin (1898) and Milan (1906) exhibitions as well as the Universal Exhibition of 1900 in Paris, where he was awarded a silver medal. Pierre Cardin (, , ), born Pietro Costante Cardino (2 July 1922 – 29 December 2020), was an Italian-born naturalised-French fashion designer. He is known for what were his avant-garde style and Space Age designs. He preferred geometric shapes and motifs, often ignoring the female form.
